Join us each Wednesday night for food, fellowship and fun. We offer catered meals by reservation, music programs for children and youth, and adult small groups. Take some time during your busy week to CONNECT with others at St. Stephen UMC. Here’s some of what you can expect:

Schedule
The spring session of Connect is held every Wednesday from January 18 to March 21, except February 22, which is Ash Wednesday.

Cherub Choir (TK & K) 5:30-6pm in room 34
Music Makers (1st & 2nd grade) 5:15-6pm in room 8/9
Young Musicians (3rd-5th grade) 5:15-6pm in the choir room
Beginning Chimes (3rd-5th grade) 6:30-7:00pm in room 7

Handbells
Contact Julia Hubbard for more information about youth handbell groups. These groups rehearse through April.

Youth Choir
This choir is open to all youth in grades 6-12. 6:45-7:45pm in Room 3

Adult Classes and Ministries
Adults are are invited to choose from several adult programming options
described below with something available to meet everyone’s needs and interests.

CONNECT with your spiritual gifts!
Enjoy discovering the gifts God has given you and how your gifts can be used to glorify God and build others up! Our 3-week MAGI workshop will be offered in January (18, 25, and February 1 from 6:15–8:15pm). ROOM 32

CONNECT to the Scriptures!
Learn from a noted biblical authority. Enjoy a Bible study led via DVD by renowned scholar Dr. Mickey Efird and participate in discussion with classmates. ROOM 33

CONNECT to one another!
Are you feeling overscheduled? Then just sit back, relax, and share in conversation with your Christian companions. Enjoy this time together with your church family! NARTHEX

Child Care
Free childcare for infants through 5th grade is provided every week in Room 47 from 6:30-7:30.

Meals

A catered dinner buffet is served in the Fellowship Hall from 5:30–6:30pm.

January 18 - fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, apple pie
January 25 - hamburger steak, rice & gravy, grilled veggies, chocolate & pecan pie
February 1 - sandwich buffet, cake
February 8 - turkey & gravy, dressing, green beans, banana pudding
February 15 - spaghetti, salad, cherry pie, brownies (same for kids)
February 22 - ASH WEDNESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER
February 29 - BBQ, baked beans, cole slaw, cake (kids: hot dogs, mac & cheese)
March 7 - fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, apple pie
March 14 - chicken parmesan w/spaghetti, salad, cookies (kids: hot dogs, mac & cheese)
March 21 - country style steak, rice & gravy, broccoli, pecan pie, chocolate pie

Each meal children will be offered chicken strips and mac and cheese, unless otherwise noted.

Reservations
To make your reservation for Wednesday night meals, call the reservation line (704-364-3260 x3) by NOON each Monday OR make a standing reservation for the fall session. Meals are $7 for adults; $4 for children (5^th grade and under). Max. $25 for a family.
