Music Ministry at St. Stephen
Our music program is exceptionally strong. Our program involves children from three years old to adults. Musical opportunities include children’s music for all ages, Praise Band (sings and plays in modern worship), adult choir (sings in traditional worship), handbells for children, youth, and adults; and youth choir.

We feature our music ministry at Easter, Christmas, and at many other occasions. The children and youth sing throughout the year at Sunday worship and special events.

Adult Ensembles:

  • Chancel Choir: This choir is open to any adult that wants to sing! Rehearsals are on Thursday nights from 7:30-9:00pm. John Blizzard leads this choir.
  • Praise Band: The Praise Band leads worship at the Modern Worship service and leads praise music and encourages the congregation to actively participate in the service through singing, clapping, and movement. This group rehearses at 6:30pm on Monday nights. Mitch Pons leads this group.
  • JuBELLation: This is an advanced adult bell choir at St. Stephen. Rehearsals are on Sunday evenings 5:45 - 7:00 pm. JuBELLation rings in worship services monthly from September through May during the year as well as occasional performances outside St. Stephen. Alan Alsop directs this group.
