RECREATION MINISTRY at St. Stephen
Children and youth of all ages can play basketball, soccer, and softball through St. Stephen’s Recreation Ministry. The basketball season kicks off in November with practices. Spring and fall soccer teams are for children ages 3-5th grade. We also have spring softball for girls in elementary, middle and high schools. Our church also has four adult softball teams which practice in the spring and play games beginning in June.

St. Stephen UMC Recreation Ministry
The purpose of the Recreation Ministry seeks to build disciples of Jesus Christ by giving youth, children, parents, and coaches opportunities to discover and apply their growing faith by committing to a SMALL GROUP. Recreation provides for us the opportunity to practice living out the Christian life in real-world circumstances: experiencing competition with honor, facing challenges with integrity, dealing positively with success and failure, encouraging attitudes, respect for others, and learning from others. We encourage all participants, parents, coaches, and officials to participate in our recreation ministry with these as our most important goals.
