At St. Stephen, you will find opportunities for fellowship and friendship, spiritual education and discipleship, service and missions — no matter your interests, skillsets, or season in life. We believe fellowship, discipleship, and service are key components in the life of a follower of Jesus.
Sunday Groups for Adults
New guests can cultivate meaningful connections and take their first step toward small group involvement in one of these three Sunday offerings. We also offer a variety of other Sunday small groups, so if these don't seem to fit you, we encourage you to explore additional groups listed under "More Adult Programs" below.
Young in spirit! The Joy Class is popular with both singles and couples, longtime members and new guests, over 60. Regular studies focus on scripture and social issues, with classes taught by members and outside speakers. The class also plans several social outings, dinners, and trips throughout the year.
Meets every Sunday, Room 33.
Discovery is an intergenerational class affiliated with the Reconciling Ministries Network. Popular with members and guests, Discovery seeks to deepen its members’ faith through studying and discussing challenging books and topics. Members value openness, diversity, mutual support, and shared leadership.
Meets every Sunday, Room 36.
Unsure what small group you might like? Want to meet other guests and members? Coffee Connections is our time for informal networking and conversation 30 minutes prior to each worship service every Sunday. Stop by at 8:30am before the Traditional Service or at 10:30am before the Modern Service. St. Stephen members, welcome team staffers, and other longtime guests or regular attenders can help connect you to a small group you might enjoy.
