Children’s Music Opportunities

At St. Stephen, children have an opportunity to explore music from the age of three. They begin with song and movement and learn music skills and about music in worship.

Children's Choirs

(Wednesdays from September to April)

Music Explorers: Three and four year olds explore music through song, movement, instruments, and story. Join us as we praise God and have fun! (5:30-6pm in room 36)

Cherub Choir: In this beginning choir, for children in TK through 1st grade, children learn basic rhythm and melodic concepts (keeping a steady beat and learning how a melody moves up and down). While this choir is non-performance driven, they sing in worship two or three times each season. (5:30-6pm in room 34)

Junior Choir: This choir is for children in 2nd - 5th grades. This advanced children's choir explores hymns, the different components of the worship service, and begins to sing in parts. The choir sings monthly in worship during the school year. (5:15-6pm in room 3)

Beginning Chimes

This chime choir is for children in grades 3-5 who may or may not have had music reading experience. (6:30-7pm in rm 7)

Children's Choir Camp
