Our Collective Abundance

"Carrying out this social relief work involves far more than helping meet the bare needs of poor Christians. It also produces abundant and bountiful thanksgivings to God….” — 2 Corinthians 9:12 (The Message)
St. Stephen has been a place for individuals to cultivate their one-on-one relationship with God. It is also a place for us to combine our individual blessings to be an outward expression of God’s love to the community at-large. We have the chance to create a collective abundance that, when shared outside of the church, allows our neighbors to share in God’s abundance!
St. Stephen is living in abundance! We have a strong history of reaching up first, and then reaching out to the world. We have realized our collective abundance is sorely needed; for example, what started as Missions Day has now become Missions Week.
The abundance of giving at St. Stephen takes many forms, but it is always supported with your abundant generosity. As you prayerfully prepare for our stewardship season this month, we encourage you to ask yourself how your continued support can continue to nourish the rich soil that feeds our ministries.
There are so many opportunities available here at St. Stephen for you to make a difference. Below our some ways we have bundled our gifts together to transform lives — both within the church and beyond our walls. “
“The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.” — Proverbs 11:25 (The Message)
This list below is comprehensive, but not complete! It's meant to give you a general idea of all the wonderful things we can do together with our collective abundance.
