ST. STEPHEN LITTLE FREE FOOD PANTRY

St. Stephen United Methodist Church opened its Little Free Food Pantry in 2023. The free pantry offers new way for our local neighbors in need to gain access to balanced meals for their families and personal hygiene products. Neighbors are encouraged to give what they can and take what they need.

The St. Stephen Little Free Food Pantry is a project of our middle and high school youth, with assistance from youth Sunday School class leaders Tammy and Charles Lansden, Lora Morris, and Philip Bissette, who worked over several weeks to rehabilitate a china cabinet. The refurbished cabinet was brightly painted and had room for a variety of foods and hygiene products; it was in service from 2023 until January 2026, when a new weather-resistant food pantry was constructed.

The Little Free Food Pantry is located at the corner of our front parking lot nearest the intersection of Sardis Road and Lutomma Circle.
