Supporting students and staff at Eastway Middle School

Eastway Middle School is St. Stephen's new CMS partner school. Located in the heart of Charlotte’s international corridor, was established in 1955. It has a long history of serving native Charlotteans, as well as those who are newly arrived. The student body, with students from 29 different countries that speak 27 different languages, is among the most internationally diverse in the CMS district. With this diversity come many challenges as well as many blessings. St. Stephen desires to be in community with the staff and students at Eastway, providing support so that the entire Eastway community feels valued and appreciated.

St. Stephen desires to build relationship with the Eastway community, including its teachers, students, and parents. Opportunities to serve include support of the school's soccer and other sports teams, teacher appreciation efforts, supporting the school's student and holiday stores, field trip chaperoning, and mentorship programs.
