Today, August 9: Ladies' Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social
United Women in Faith invites all women of the church for this special, intergenerational event, today, 3-4:30pm in the Youth Ministry Center! Enjoy a time of fun and fellowship and bring along your donations for Eastway Middle back-to-school supplies. No RSVP required.
Eastway Middle Back-to-School Supplies
Our church-wide support for students at Eastway Middle School continues this year. Find the supply list at ststephenumc.net/eastway. Donation bins are located in the main and YMC lobbies.
August 23: Blessing of the Backpacks
We’ll send our students of all ages off to start the school year with our prayers and blessings during the modern worship service on Sunday, Aug. 23, 11am, in the Youth Ministry Center.
WNC Relief Mission Trip
A team from St. Stephen will travel again to Spruce Pine for continued recovery efforts from Hurricane Helene. This year’s trip is Aug. 23-29. Wayne Smith is organizing. Click here to register now and get important volunteer forms.
September 13: Fall Kickoff — Save the Date!
Save the date now for this year’s Fall Kickoff on Sunday, Sept. 13. We’re changing it up a little bit this year, serving brunch from 10-11am in between our traditional service at 9am and modern service at 11am. We’ll kickoff fall ministries and unveil our new logo/branding. Registration coming soon.
